The reverse of each small gold coin portrays two kangaroos bounding across a stylised rural landscape. The reverse of the 1 kilo gold coin depicts the classic artistry of the iconic bounding red kangaroo surrounded by rays of sunlight.
Each coin design also incorporates the inscription Australian kangaroo, the 2018 year-date, the weight and purity, and The Perth Mint’s traditional “P” mintmark.
